The idea for Feral actually occurred to me in late 2004. Mid 2005, I made an attempt at drawing the first page with the intention of drawing the whole story for charity. To test, I timed myself while drawing the first page, and quickly abandoned the idea as I was working too slowly to meet the deadline. It took four hours to draw the above, and no, I don't think the time spent shows up on the page either.
