Years ago I knew a woman whose favorite summer activity was sitting in a kiddie pool under a shade tree reading novels, with a frosty beverage close at hand.  She preferred this to sitting in the air-conditioned house reading novels and said that the only drawback was getting pruneskin.  The simple pleasures aspect of sitting in a kiddie pool sounds so appealing.  This idea gives Rose a chance to make the observation that she got her pruneskin from mother nature.  Today's Cartoon:  #1,097.  E-mail me at:  pjones41@kc.rr.com.
