This cartoon appeared on August 20, 2005, as the first installment of Rock Garden Comics. Back then, I only drew in black and white, and I didn't know how to size comics for the web. So, the cartoon appeared so huge that only one corner of Rose's head was visible. I was horrified and scrambled to find out how to fix it. I drew the first Rock Garden comic in 1994, and Rose was the first character. Originally she looked like my mom. Later, she looked more like my landlady. Now she just looks like herself. Rose will always be my most favorite character.
